Certified Hypnotherapist, Reiki Master Teacher

I had my first transformational turning point when I was fourteen years old. It remains vivid to this day. In the early hours of the morning, I found myself floating outside of my physical body. I was pulled out of my bedroom and down the street. A few blocks from home, a car was crushed against a pole, the young man still inside. Even as I saw his lifeless body, I felt his confused spirit lingering nearby, trying to understand. Somehow I knew that it was my role to calm his fear by explaining what had happened, and to keep him company until his guide arrived. When the spirit of his grandmother approached, he went directly into her arms, and then they left.

Upon returning to my bedroom, I was the one that was confused. Skepticism crept in and stayed until I read a story in the newspaper the following day. It reported that on the same night as my ‘dream’, at the same hour, and only two blocks from my home, a young man had been killed in a traffic accident. His physical description and the circumstances of that situation matched my experience exactly.

This event showed me the path but it was so alien to the life I knew, I tucked it away as if it were a jewel to be treasured but not worn. I read all the books I could find on PSI phenomenon and metaphysics. I found The Seth material and the works of Ken Wilbur and Carl Jung, who was particularly influential. I practiced with tarot and began to experience other intuitive openings.

Years later I discovered Reiki and the human energy field and studied to become a Reiki Master. A series of synchronistic events led to the Shamanic worldview of the interrelatedness of life. Nature herself became one of my most consistent and generous teachers. Because hypnosis had been extremely positive in my own growth, I decided to pursue instruction at one of the best national schools, the Hypnotherapy Academy of America, located in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Gradually it became clear that I wanted to dedicate my life to working with others in a healing way. I finally chose the path that had been shown to me so long ago.

Since then, experience and study have expanded the range of my intuitive energy sessions, enabling me to read the language of a client’s energy field. Sharing this personalized kinesthetic imagery draws them more deeply and effectively into the healing experience.

My study intensives have included training at Edgar Cayce’s Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) in Virginia Beach with Henry Reed and Carol Ann Liaros, and certification in Life Between Life Regression methods with Alan and Dee Chips. My shamanic studies have been enriched through work with Don Martin Pinedo, an indigenous Peruvian Shaman. Most recently I have become interested in Process Work – an approach to working in the moment that emphasizes awareness, curiosity, non-judgement with a quantum perspective and am part of their Certificate Program.

Life and circumstances continue to instruct and lead me forward on the path, as does each client with whom I am privileged to work.

I am certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists , the National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists and am a member of Institute for Noetic Sciences and the International Reiki Association.
